Northway Mushroom Plant is a new compost facility in Ballygawley, Co Tyrone.
Mc Aleer & Teague are the Main Contractor on the Project and mc Mackin Contracts were subcontracted to complete all siteworks which included Bulk earthworks, drainage, ducting, mud-matting, HDPE pipework, Pile-cutting, various concrete works, kerbing, bulk filling of stone & fill material, stoning of roads and piling platforms etc.

The project was a green field site which required over 45,000m³ to be excavated and disposed off-site. The entire site was concreted including roads, yards etc with all dirty/clean water drained to separate filtration systems.
All drainage throughout the site had to be sealed due to the factory day-to-day use and risk of fumes/dirty water.
