A4 Dungannon to Ballygawley Dual Carriageway – 2008-2010

McMackin Contracts were employed on various elements of the scheme including for major elements of muck shift, drainage installation (approx. 25km), preparation works for structures including a number of bridges, culvert installation and the installation various retaining structures throughout the scheme.

On the scheme McMackin Contracts were also responsible for areas of sub-surface preparation and kerbing, fence installation and the installation of other furniture.

Management of Health and Safety was of critical importance on the scheme especially given that considerable portions of the new road were being constructed on-line. McMackin Contracts had a full time SHEQ Manager onsite whose main priority was ensuring the safety of the public and workforce.

All works were undertaken by McMackin Contracts modern fleet of plant and McMackin Contracts workforce.
